2026 Fees

Uniforms

FEE STRUCTURE

​

Fees are paid on a term basis and must be paid 50% by commencement of each term and then finalised in week 2.

​

Annual Enrolment fee- $30 (per student)( covers insurance/ eisteddfod entries/ admin costs)

​

1 class at 30 mins = $60

1 class 45 mins - 1 hr = $120

2 classes =$240

3 classes = $360

4 classes = $480

5 classes =$580

6 classes =$680

7 classes = $750

Unlimited classes= $800

​

Family discount: 3 or more family member discount - 10% of total fee after third child enrols

​

Term invoices are emailed to you once your enrolment has been approved in Term 1 and then at the beginning of Terms 2, 3, and 4. Please note all term accounts MUST be paid 50% before classes start and the remaining 50% is to be paid by the Friday in week 2.Failure to have accounts finalised by this date will result in immediate cancellation of your enrolment.

Student concert levy

Each student will be charged $40  in Term 4. This charge covers concert rehearsal fees and access to the concert recording. This fee is nonrefundable.

1.    Fees, Rates & Charges

​

-   Term fees are to be fully paid prior to the commencement of the start of each term.

 

-  Term fees are strictly non-refundable. We are unable to refund/credit term fees or part thereof due to absence/change of mind.

 

-  The Enrolment Fee is non-refundable.

 

-    A $10 late fee will be applied to fees not paid by the due date.

 

-   Should the school cancel a class for any reason, other options will be offered for your child to make up for this lost class

 

-   Should the school be subject to closure by the government, it is the intention of the school to run all classes online. We are unable to credit fees for any class being offered online.

 

- It is assumed if you are enrolling in classes, then your child will need a costume. These are ordered mid term 1. If you change your mind, after this you will still be required to purchase the costume that has been ordered for your child 

 

- Dance HQ holds the right to keep any costumes until accounts are finalised or up to date

 

2.    Personal Conduct & Child Safety 

​

-    Courteous and respectful behaviour is expected from all participants in the Dance HQ community, including students, parents and friends. 

 

-   All employees, contractors, sub-contractors, parent helpers are required to have a working with children check if working with our students.

 

-    Parents must list illnesses and allergies on the school’s Enrolment Form or notify the school in writing via email.

​

3.    Attendance 

​-     Please notify the school via text if a class or classes are to be missed.

 

-  If you sign up to a class, it is under the assumption that you will participate in all eisteddfods. If this is not possible then you need to let your teacher know as soon as possible and this may result in space changes or ability to continue this class.

 

- attendance of classes and eisteddfods/ competitions may be impacted if your account is not up to date

4.    Limit of Liability

​

-   You accept and acknowledge that you may be liable for any losses, costs, or other charges due to damages caused by you or your child to Dance HQ property. This may include cleaning fees or any other associated costs.  

 

-   Dance HQ does not exclude or limit- the application of any provision of any statute (including the Trade Practices Act1974) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of this clause to be void; or

 

-     Direct losses and damages which arise only as a result of Dance HQ gross negligence (which means where Dance HQ commits an act or allows an omission to occur in reckless disregard the consequences of the act or omission). 

 

-    Dance HQ excludes all statutory liability (Including but not limited to liability in negligence), the general law or statute, liability for all direct, economic, consequential or indirect losses, expenses, damages, and costs incurred by you, arising out of or relating to the attendance at class, including, but not limited to, liability for gross negligence, 

 

​-    Dance HQ is not responsible or liable for any indirect consequential or economic damage.

​

5.    Consent

 

-     You consent to Dance HQ employees, helpers or contractors taking your child to the toilet if required, apply first aid in the event of an emergency, physical contact in relation to dance correction and instruction, take photographs for promotional or marketing activities and understand to the risk associated with dance activities and the possibility of injury.

​

Uniforms at HQ are compulsory to enhance the student's experience and team environment. We have a range of uniforms available for students to purchase. These make great Christmas or birthday presents. 

This year our dance uniforms can be purchased from King Fisher School wear store.

Ballet Uniform

Ballet students should wear a leotard, ballet stockings and ballet shoes. This is so that the teacher can see the dancer and correct and technique when required. Leotards are available from Kingfisher Clothing Store in Summer Street. There are different coloured leotards for each grade, as follows:

6-8 years: Mint green specific leotard from King Fisher

10-12 years: Bloch Leotard in Navy

14 years and over: Black (any style)
All students must have their hair tied back and out of their face so that it doesn’t distract them and have the appropriate shoes for the selected dance style.
